Who Are These "Official" UHF IPTV Providers? Are They Legit?

Have you seen websites selling 'Official UHF IPTV subscriptions'? They are scams. Read about the growing wave of illegal playlist providers tricking users, and learn why the UHF app is strictly a video player that does not provide, host, or sell any streaming content.

If you've been searching online for IPTV playlists or streaming subscriptions, you might have stumbled across websites claiming to be the "Official UHF IPTV Provider" or offering exclusive "UHF Subscriptions".

To answer the question right away: No, they are not legit. They are entirely fake, and they are not affiliated with us in any way.

Over the past few months, we have seen a disturbing trend. What started as a few isolated incidents has turned into a daily wave of emails from frustrated users who have been scammed.

The Scam: How It Works

These illegal playlist providers use our app's name and even our logo, to trick people into buying yearly or lifetime IPTV subscriptions. Once the user pays, the channels either stop working after a few days, or the provider simply disappears.

Because the scammers used the UHF name to make the sale, the victims naturally turn to our support team for help. This is one of the emails we have received:

Subject: My list is gone after I paid!

"Hi UHF Support,

I bought a 12-month premium sports and movie package from your website last week. I loaded the playlist into the app, and it worked fine for two days, but now the player shows an error. I paid $60 for this via cryptocurrency. Please fix my account or issue a refund immediately! My username is..."

It is heartbreaking to have to tell these users that their money is gone, and that there is absolutely nothing we can do to help them.

The Reality: UHF is Just a Video Player

To clear up any confusion, we want to formally reiterate what the UHF app actually is and what we do:

  • We do not sell content: UHF does not sell, provide, host, or distribute IPTV playlists, channels, movies, or subscriptions.

  • We are a blank slate: We strictly develop the software, the media player itself. When you download UHF, it contains absolutely zero media.

  • Your content, your responsibility: As clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions, users are strictly required to use the UHF app only for content they have the legal right to stream and watch.

How to Protect Yourself

If you are looking to bring your own content to the UHF app, please keep these rules in mind to avoid being scammed:

  • Never trust "UHF" subscriptions: If a website is selling channels or playlists and claims to be the "Official UHF provider" or a "UHF partner," they are lying.

  • Always check the source: The only official information about our app comes directly from our official website and our verified App Store listings.

If you have been scammed by one of these providers, we strongly recommend contacting your bank or payment processor to see if a chargeback is possible.
